Safeguarding

As a Church, we recognise the importance of appropriate safeguarding in our work with children, young people and adults in need of protection.

We have a responsibility to protect everyone entrusted to our care and realise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All our workers are DBS-checked.

We are members of thirtyone:eight, an independent Christian charity which helps individuals, organisations, charities, faith and community groups to protect vulnerable people from abuse.

We are also committed to following local and national legislation, conventions and codes, to maintaining a robust safeguarding framework, and ensuring that our workers and members adhere to agreed procedures.
